Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for a full time, level 2/3 qualified Practitioner to join our thriving nursery in Barnet.
Monday-Friday inclusive, with the shift patterns 7am – 4pm or 9am – 6pm

Our practice is a well-established, predominantly private dental clinic. With a team that includes three dentists, three hygienists, an implantologist/oral surgeon and a highly experienced administrative team, we provide high-quality care in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities of the position are

• Childcare and Education
• Observe, support and extend children’s learning
• Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
• Plan appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance
• Maintain accurate and effective children’s records
• Work in partnership with parents / carers and other family members
• Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met and that Food Safety Regulations are complied with
• Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion
• Work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve quality of childcare and education
• Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and when necessary follow, Child Protection Procedures
