Nursery Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our client’s small, vibrant, and inclusive nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Overview

• 45 hours per week
• Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Salary: Up to £37,000

What we're looking for

• Proven Experience: Previous managerial experience in an early years education setting e.g. deputy nursery manager, nursery manager.
• Education Requirements: Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).
• Leadership Excellence: Strong ability to inspire, guide, and support a diverse team.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in early years settings.
• Passion for Inclusion: Dedication to fostering children’s development in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Oversee the nursery’s daily functions while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Team Leadership: Lead, support, and inspire staff while promoting professional growth.
• Curriculum Development: Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities to encourage children’s learning and growth.
• Parent Collaboration: Build meaningful partnerships with parents, ensuring open and effective communication.
• Administrative Management: Handle budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping with accuracy and efficiency.
